Foyer

[Wolfsbane/Magma]

"This should be good"


Rahne enters the cozy foyer and to her surprise sees Kitty, Scott, Jean, Rogue and Gambit having a conversation. She turns to her human form soaked from the rain outside and stands straight.


"Whats going on?" she asks with eyes full of puzzlement.

[Rogue/Scarlet Witch]

Rogue saw Kitty and just shook her head when she heard what she said. "Why should this be good Kitty?" Rogue asked "Didn't your boyfriend try to be an x-men before? Why is this any different?" Rogue crossed her arms and watched every one. Rogue remembered that day that Lance came in and wanted to join the X-men. She couldn't believe how they were all acting. She was kinda hoping Logan would show up and at least get every one to stand down or at least hear Gambit out. She kinda hoped that Gambit didn't say any thing wrong because she new how they would react. Looking at Gambit she looked back at the others.

[Cyclops/Toad]

Scott thought for a moment. It could be a trap but then again Lance did want to join at one point. Maybe this could be the same situation. Maybe this one might actually join.

"Rouge is right Kitty, Lance did try to become and X-men. I say we all calm down and hear Gambit out." Said Scott trying to calm everyone down.

[Kitty]

Kitty kinda just made a twist with her mouth and looked to the floor.

"Well, you don't need to convince me. I'm just saying.." She looked at Gambit, trying to find some hint of mischief or ill will. After all, she had just found him in the Sub-levels.

"At least Lance didn't sneak into the sub-levels." she tried to make a point.

"Well, he did, but it was to help out Bobby and his bunch. I just caught this guy wandering down there! What's he after?"

[Cyclops/Toad]

((OOC: I'll start the NCP with Professor X.))

"Now isn't this quaint to see all my students up so early." remarked Professor X as he entered the room on his wheelchair. "What do we owe this honor?" The question was directed to Gambit.

Scott was shocked when the professor entered the room that he fell down the rest of the stairs.

"Oh professor... Were not completely sure what's going on yet." Scott replied as he stood back up.

"Well then lets find out shall we?" asked the Professor.

[Gambit/Professor X]

Remy raised his hands in the air to show that he meant them no harm.

"I'm sorry, sometimes I just can't help myself around fancy security systems. I am a trained thief after all. Besides, I could have taken you out down there Kitty if I had wanted to, but if you remember right I left. I don't want any problems with the X-men. And on top of all that don't you want to see your friend Rouge happy for once? After all, should I join you guys that's exactly what would happen."

[Cyclops/Toad]

"Ah now see was this any reason to become alarmed? Gambit here only wishes to become one of us here and who are we to deny him that? Although I wish that you would have just rang the intercom at the gate instead of testing your powers and skills on my security system." said Professor X.

The professor was there once again with words of the wise. while everyone else was preparing to attack he came baring a chance to know what was going on.

"There are plenty of rooms here Gambit if you so wish to join with us. I'm sure we can arrange for some sort of tour and a meal. if your intrested." said Professor X.

[Gambit/Professor X]

"Thank you professor. I gotta say I expected it to much much harder to get into this group of yours. And about your security, I wouldn't worry to much about that. I am one of the best there is at getting past top notch tech, but even I had a hard time. Your really locked in tight her."

Gambit put his hands down and let them rest at his side, now confident that nobody was going to attack him.

"As for the tour and the meal, I just at and I know the perfect person to show me around properly."

Remy reached out at took Rouge's hand.

"Shall we, Mon Ami?"

[Cyclops/Toad]

"Yes well to join we must treat you as a new recurit. No specail treatment I apologize. so as soon as your tour is concluded have rouge bring you to the danger room for training. Kitty, Jean, Scott report to the danger room in uniform to help Gamibt out." said Professor X as he exited the room.

((OOC: Professor X is relinquished from my hands now))

"Yeah, okay Professor." said Scott as he headed towards the kitchen for a quick bite to eat.

[Gambit/Professor X]

[Jean Grey]

Jean relaxed her stance, Gambit wanted to join them she was surprised. She didn't know if it was a trick or not but things would just have to play out. Maybe he really wanted to do good in the world now, if he did then they would let him. She just hoped that it would stay that way.

She listened quietly as the Professor and Gambit spoke. As the conversation ended and everyone started to leave. She hoped this would end well. She turned and walked toward the kitchen, this had all interrupted her while she was eating her apple, she had only taken a few bites so she was still kind of hungry.

((Goes to Kitchen))

[Rogue/Scarlet Witch]

Rogue wasn't sure what to say to Kitty. She didn't know that Gambit was able to break in to the sub-levels. Rogue just new that he broke in. Listing to him talk she smiled and her smile grew bigger when she saw the professor. Looking at him she hoped he would have better luck then Lance did. Things weren't going to be easy that was for sure.

Rogue looked at the professor and thanked him before left. "Well Gambit I best show you to your room and to the kitchen. Unless you want it the other way." Rogue said Rogue hoped during the training she would be there or in a few like they had the training with Lance and the newer recruits. Looking at him she really couldn't picture Gambit wearing an x-men uniform.

[Gambit/Professor X]

"Well, I can always find my room later, but for now I better get something to eat if I'm gonna keep up you you pro's in the danger room. Lets go get somethin to eat in the kitchen and then find out way back down to the danger room."

Gambit started to walk toward the kitchen. When he got to the door he turned around before entering.

"And I thought I asked you to call me Remy. It just sounds better the Gambit when you say it."

[Exit to kitchen]

[Wolfsbane/Magma]

Rahne still soaking wet turned back into a dog and began to trot to her room so she could dry off

[Kitty]

Kitty, already in uniform, made her way out of the Foyer.

[Exit Kitty, to Danger Room]

[Hank]

Pushing open the front door, Hank looked over his shoulder at Pyro. "Well, this is the entrance hall, or as most of the students call it, the Foyer. From here, you have access to everything on the ground floor, such as the kitchen, lunch room, study, and the music hall, though I would recommend not going in there. Its your call on where we head next." At this, Hank turned and looked expectantly at the boy.

"You have a music room?" Pyro looked a little confused. They didn't had any kind of recreational rooms in the Acolyte's old base. "Wait what's wrong with it?" What could possible be so bad there?

[Hank]

"Well, there's nothing wrong with it, but some of the students aren't all that good, so I tend to avoid it. I don't think anyone's practicing right now, if you wanted to go in and look around." Hank walked over to the music room, pausing at the door. He then turned the doornob and eased the door open, sighing with relief when he was greeted only by silence.

"Oi mate this room is filled with music things." Pyro whistled. "These little X's are spoiled." Pyro frowned slightly.

(sorry for the crappyness lately but I have guests that are staying for another week so I'm rather slow and inspirationless.)

[Hank]

Hank laughed at that. "Yes, they are, but it's hard keeping them busy. If we don't, they're likely to level the building. Of course, I think the kitchen is easily the most used room, but they are teenagers. As a matter of fact, I was thinking about grabbing a snack, care to join me?" Hank then began walking towards the kitchen, listening for the footsteps he knew were sure to follow him.

(its not a big deal. I understand. just wish some of the other people would log in... *sigh*)
