Foyer

[Kitty]

Upon entering the mansion, one is greeted by the open and spacious Entrance Hall, or Foyer as the students call it.

The muffled rumbling of constant motion upstairs sounds softly through the ample air, and an occasional gust of wind, fresh from outdoors, travels into the hall.

One could sit on one of the couches, make way up the stairway toward the dormitories, or walk through the halls anywhere else.

[Kitty]

thud, thud, thud,

The muffled sound of Kitty's slippers against carpet echoes lightly through the hall as she makes her way down the main stairs and into the great empty foyer. Her hand slides softly down the golden rail, and she hops the final step.

"Whoah.." She looks at the huge glass windows and door. All around, cascades of rain glide down the panes of glass like whispering waterfalls, each blurring the gray and gree scene of trees and pavement outside.

"What a bummer..." she groans.

"Looks like another day inside..!"

[Spyke/Jamie]

"Cool, there you are!" Spyke says to Kitty.
"I found your dinosaur in my room" He says half laughing.
He starts walking toward her waiting for a response.

[Kitty]

Kitty turns around, and spots Evan coming down the stairs. She gives him a puzzled look.

"My.. dinosaur?"

[Spyke/Jamie]

"Yea"Even replies.
"It's green,and it was in my room."
"What was it doing there?"
Evan was sure that it is Kitty's dinosaur,but was having second thoughts.

[Kitty]

She giggles to herself.

"Erm, no. I think you've got me mixed with like, Jamie or someone!" She gives it another thought and then Evan another funny look.

"Sure it's not a stuffed purple dragon? I have one of those!."

[Spyke/Jamie]

"Ohh,umm,o.k."Evan said shocked.
He was suprised that the stuffed toy was not Kitty's.
I should probobly find out who the toy belongs to, but first I'll get something to eat.He thought.
He turned to Kitty and said,"Hey, wanna get something to eat?"

[Kitty]

Kitty's face beams up at the near mention of food.

"Totally! I was actually just headed to go get something to eat for breakfast, but I noticed how totally wet it looks outside. Could you believe it?"

She starts to head to the lunchroom with Evan (right?).

[Spyke/Jamie]

Evan was still thinking about the toy,but with a mystery or without one, there was always time for some milk.
Evan started toward the lunch room.
He looked back,"Lets go."

[Kitty]

[Exit: Kitty (To Kitchen)]

[Wolfsbane/Magma]

Amara enters the foyer, she looks at the gloomy weather and groans.


"I hate rain" Amara says to herself as she approaches a window leaning herself against it. The glass is cold and the contact leaves her bare arm with goosebumps as she quickly backs away. She stares at the rain watching as the wind sways it in different directions.


Amara leaves the window to go over and sit on a couch. She leans back and wonders if the rain is ever going to clear up.


As Rahne enters the foyer she sees Amara on the couch. In a matter of seconds Rahne turns from a scruffy dog into her human form. She smiles over at her "Hey Amara! Don't you just love the rain, I'm going to go outside right now!"



Amara turns happy to see someone awake " Your going out there?" she frowns, "Don't, your going to get soaked."


" Ha ha" Rahne laughs, "That's the point Amara I want to go outside and enjoy the rain" she walks over to the main entrance and turns before leaving, "Care to join?"

[Wolfsbane/Magma]

Amara doesn't want to get wet, so Rahne just goes by herself instead then.


"Ok, bye!"


Amara stands up heads for the hallways

[Kitty]

Kitty rushed into the Foyer. She had run into Gambit earlier, and was looking for Wolverine.

"Logan?"

[Gambit/Professor X]

Remy had run into Rouge at the diner and confessed his new abilities and feelings for her. Then he had decided to join the X-men so they walked back to the mansion together. Remy saw the gates in the distance just as it started to rain, so he ran until he was on the steps outside the mansion and up to the door, threw it and into the Foyer with Rouge. There he saw Kitty yelling for Logan.

"Hello there Mon Ami. Aren't you the little loud speaker. Yelling like that."

(ooc: This post is assuming that Rouge was still with me after leaving the diner.)

[Cyclops/Toad]

Scott was half asleep until he heard a voice that came from the Foyer. It sounded like one of magneto's recruits. Upon hearing the voice Scott rushed downstairs where he saw Kitty and Gambit.Wait, Gambit? What's going on! thought Scott.

"Okay what's going on around here!" said Scott as he grabbed the side of his sunglasses ready to fire.

[Rogue/Scarlet Witch]

Rogue was next to Gambit and looked at Scott and Kitty. "Don't think Logan is here Kitty." Rogue said From what she remembered right Gambit said they had a run in near the school. So she guessed he was somewhere else right now.

"Scott its alright okay. No need ta fight." Rogue said "Just relax alright Scott."

[Cyclops/Toad]

Scott was unsure of Gambit's intentions but being asked to take is easy he was willing to hear what Rouge and Gambit had to say. He owed Rouge that much. "Okay. So mind telling us what's going on?" Scott let go of his sunglasses to hear what they had to say.

[Rogue/Scarlet Witch]

Rogue looked at Kitty, Gambit and Scott. She wasn't sure what was really going on. "Well from what Gambit is wantin to do I guess is join us. Or well try it out first and stick around if he likes it." Rogue looked at Gambit and smiled "Maybe ya should tell the story since it is your story."

[Kitty]

Kitty had nearly pounced Gambit again, she was so strung up. Upon seeing Rogue though, her mind sort of flopped.

What's going on???

She took a few steps closer to Scott and crossed her arms.

"This should be good."

[Jean Grey]

Jean entered the Foyer she noticed Rouge, Scott, Kitty, and Gambit. Her eyes fell on him ready to use her power to throw him back at a moments notice. So what does he want? she thought to herself. As of this second the others didn't seem to be fighting him just talking. She knew the less violent path was always the right one so she just braced herself and didn't let her guard down. It wasn't hard to switch from peaceful to non peaceful just one little though in her mind and Gambit would be a few feet farther away from them.

She made her way over to where Scott and Kitty were. She wanted to know what was going on. Why was Gambit here, was it another one of Magneto's plans. She ran a few different possibilities through her mind as she waited for anyone of them to speak. She made sure her mind was sharp and she was prepared just in case this all went south.
