Name: Kurt Wagner
Codename: Nightcrawler
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Power:
Teleportation is Kurt's main power. He can teleport from one place to the next in the blink of an eye, and can do this on up to a two-mile radius. teleports, a faint smell of brimstone, and a flash of smoke is left in his wake.
Kurt can teleport to anywhere with in a two mile radius easily, however, going further leaves him weakened. Taking anything with him also weakens him. If he teleports straight up, or straight down, it leaves him and anyone else with him very weak, and sick. Sometimes he uses this against enemies, since he can stand more than they can from his training. Unless he knows where he is going, he cannot teleport there without danger of hurting himself or others.
He is extremely flexible, and can climb walls and other things with great ease. His tail can support his weight, and he is often found in various places, hanging from it. His spine is more flexible than a normal humans, and can take great strain from bending without breaking. Kurt is very strong. He can climb easily, and run at far more than an average speed, among other things. And yet, if he is on a slippery area, it makes it much more dangerous for him to climb.
Personality:
Kurt has a knack for the spontaneous and exciting. He loves doing random things, at the spur of the moment, and loves the new and dangerous. Despite his looks, he is always charming and gallant. He loves to play tricks and pranks, and is often seen tricking his friends(especially Kitty) by teleporting to wherever they are without warning.
He is a lover of fast food(especially hamburgers).
On a more serious side, Kurt Wagner is shy about his appearance, and hates that how he looks scares people. He is hesitant to show anyone, besides his fellow X-Men, what he truly looks like. He is a honest, kind boy who is eager to help others in whatever way he can, even if sometimes his attempts end in disaster.
History:
Kurt was born to Mystique, but was raised by kind foster parents in Bavaria, Germany. Mystique accidentally dropped her baby off of the ledge of a cliff, and when she followed him, she saw him with the couple. Probably thinkinig he would have a better life with them than with her, she let him go.
And so Kurt lived out his childhood with his foster parents, before going to Xavier's Institute when he was sixteen. At first, Kurt was very shy around the inhabitants of the mansion, hiding himself with a cloak. Soon after he arrived, Professor Xavier gave him an image inducer, in the shape of a watch, to hide his appearance. This would enable Kurt to go to school like a normal boy, and it boosted his confidence.
Soon, Kurt was revealed to be the happy-go-lucky boy he had probably been all along. He quickly made friends at the Institute, though some people took longer than others.
Image:
Kurt has a very striking, and to some frightening, appearance. His skin consists of a furry fuz-like blueness, which covers his body. His ears are pointed, and he has a tail, with a point on the end. His eyes are yellow, and his hands only have three fingers each, his feet two.. All of these features contribute to a rather demonic appearance, and makes him appear quite frightening, until you know better.
Thanks to Professor Xavier, Kurt uses a holographic image inducer to give him a more “normal” look when he goes out in public. In this guise, his skin, hands, feet, and eyes are like that of any normal Caucasian teenage boy. And, of course, he has no tail.
RP Example:
There it was, shining and glinting in the sunlight. The sleek paint, the cold steel, the new wheels. It was almost too much to bear. Kurt Wagner sat outside of the mansion, staring at Wolverine's motorcycle with undisguised awe, and maybe the hind of a mischievous glint in his eyes. He had never had much of an interest in motorcycles before, but it was so....beautiful.
"I'm sure Logan vouldn't mind if I took it for a spin," He mumbled to himself, as he climbed on. The key was even in the ignition. He turned it, then pushed what he hoped was the gas pedal. He was right. The motorbike took off, fast.
A little too fast.
"Whoa!" Kurt screeched at the top of his lungs, as the bike sped off down the long driveway. "Maybe zhis vasn't such a good ideaaa."
