[Kitty]

Right out of the wall, Kitty appeared. She looked a bit distressed, and showed signs of having been in a tussle.

"Jean? Jean!" she rushed to her.

[Jean Grey]

Jean jumped as Kitty rushed into the room -thump- the apple hit the table as she looked up at her. As she looked over at Kitty she noticed that Kitty looked a bit out placed. What had happened to her? This started to make her a bit worried. "Kitty Whats wrong?" She stood up and put her hands on her shoulders.

She guessed she wasn't going to finish her apple, it was now sitting on the floor. She wasn't that hungry so it didn't really matter.

[Kitty]

"You're not gonna believe this Jean, but I just ran into one of Magneto's baddies! Here, in the mansion!"

She bit her lip and rushed to the door.

"C'mon, we gotta find Logan!"

[Exit: Kitty, to Foyer]

[Jean Grey]

"There's one here?" She asked but there was really no point in asking Kitty was already out the door. She was going to have to finish eating later this was more important. What ever Magneto's guy was going most likely wasn't any good. Guess we will never get a peaceful relaxing day she thought to herself.

Quickly she gathered her self and followed after Kitty it was a good idea to find Logan, he could help them. She knew that Magneto's men were strong and even with all the training Professor X had all the x-men go through, they still had trouble fighting off Magneto's men. She quickly made her way to the Foyer going after Kitty.

Jean walked into the kitchen, the whole Gambit thing was still on her mind. She hoped this was a good decision. She went over to the table and picked up another apple. She placed it on the table and reached under the table for the apple she had dropped earlier. She picked it up and threw it away.

When she was done with that she went back to the table and sat down. She picked up the apple and then put her arm down letting it float in the air again. She reached up again and took a bite, once again she put her arm down letting it float again. She took her now free arm and pushed her hair back behind her ear. She knew she had to report to the danger room but she wanted to finish eating first.

[Gambit/Professor X]

Gambit opened the door to the kitchen and walked in, sitting down opposite Jean.

"So, whats with the new guy, he seems a little weird don't you think?"

Gambit laughed a little.

"Get it...cause I'm the new guy. Never mind. So, whats good to eat in the place anyway?"

[Jean Grey]

Jean glanced up when Gambit walked in, she wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. She smirked "Yes I get it" . She let the apple gently move down so it was now sitting on the table. She placed her arms on the table and leaned on them a little. She didn't want to come off as the one of the x-men who didn't give him a chance.

"Well as of now" she shook her head "There isn't much" She glanced at the refrigerator. "I mean you might be able to find something..." she looked down at the able and picked it up and twisted her wrist a little "I'll I found was a apple" .

[Gambit/Professor X]

Gambit stood up and walked to the fridge. As he looked through he didn't really find anything that he would like.

"Your right. There isn't much but I'll tell you what. Latter today I'll go to the grocery store and pick up a few things. And to show that there are no hard feelin's, at least on my part, I'll cook up some diner for you guys tonight. How does that sound?"

[Jean Grey]

Jean raised an eyebrow "You cook?" She asked, today was full of surprises. She didn't think one of Magneto's men would know how to cook it kind of took her by surprise. She took another bite of her apple. She knew had never really thought about the other mutants that much. Especially about their culinary skills... was he even any good.

She made sure she was being polite, Professor X would want them all to be nice to everyone. It was the way to be a better mutant and she believed it, but she still didn't trust Gambit... that would take time and she would need to have a reason to trust him. So far he was all talk nothing to prove to them yet.

[Gambit/Professor X]

"Can I cook? Of course, and I must say that I am pretty good. But there is only one problem. I don't really know you guys that well. All my time with you has been fighting, except with Rouge. But maybe you can help me. Would you mind telling me some of your favorite types of food here in this mansion? Otherwise you guys might not like my food."

Gambit closed the refrigerator and turned to look at Jean.

[Jean Grey]

Jean thought about it for a second "Humm..." she looked up at the ceiling gathering her thoughts. "Well if it's after one of Logan's training sessions then every one will eat anything... really to tired to care" She said with a slight laugh. After Logan's training everyone seemed to tired to argue or anything. Sometimes it was a good think so one got into trouble because they all wanted to go to their rooms.

"But if not then spaghetti... everyone loves it" Not many people hated spaghetti you could never go wrong with it. She smiled at him she was still trying to figure him out.

[Cyclops/Toad]

The kitchen door swung open and Scott walked through. There wasn't a lot of time to eat so he had to be quick. First was food then came everything else. Scott opened the refrigerator to find something to eat.

"Still nothing to eat? You'd think we'd have plenty to choose from." said Scott as he secured the milk.

Scott took a glass out of the cabinet and poured himself a glass of milk and easily drank it all.

"Hope your ready for this Gambit. See ya in the danger room." said Scott as he replaced the milk back in the fridge and left for the danger room.

[Jean Grey]

Jean took one more bite of her apple and stood up. "See you in a bit" she said to Gambit. She held out her hand the apple floated away from it and gracefully right into the garbage. She used her power on simple things so she could make sure she could control her power better.

She was getting better and better with her power only a year ago she had to focus hard just to make a chair move, now she could move a chair across the room no problem. She lowered her arm and turned toward the door. She headed toward the danger room.

"Well, I guess it's time for training. This is either going to be really fun or insanely hard. Oh well."

Gambit turned around and left for the danger room.
